Why I Love My Job

I am a postdoc in Dr. Doreen Ware’s group at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. My main projects are using whole genome assembly to understand the structure variation of maize population and the improvement of maize reference genome sequences by PacBio sequencing. With my background of plant breeding and genetics, I always have great interest in the crop genomic study.  Also Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is a very inspiring place for research with many great scientists working here and coming for communication.
